How It Works

FCPRBL is the world’s first mixed-sex, professional team battle rap league. The competition is split into two conferences, each with six divisions, featuring 20 -36+ teams owned by battle rap leagues, celebrities, athletes, and record labels.
Each roster is built through a draft process, with players selected based on BP (Battle Point) rankings, skill, and crowd appeal. This format ensures a balanced mix of talent, strategy, and entertainment in every matchup.

Season Flow

The FCPRBL season follows a structured, high-stakes format:

Regular Season – Teams face off in scheduled matchups, each battling three times to earn HP points and secure playoff seeding.
Play-In – The bottom four teams in each conference fight for the final playoff spots in do-or-die matches.
Playoffs – A multi-round elimination bracket, with each battle style determined by the roll of the dice.
Finals – A best-of-seven championship series where the league’s top two teams compete for the trophy, bonuses, and ultimate bragging rights.

AI Scoring

Every battle is judged using a patent-pending AI system combined with live referees to ensure accuracy and fairness. Performances are scored on a −3 to +3 point scale, with categories including originality, creativity, delivery, stage presence, and crowd impact.
The difference in total points is applied to each artist’s HP level, which determines their season ranking, draft value, and salary tier. Judges and referees can also award or deduct points for specific moments — from “slam dunk” room shakers to penalties for chokes or unsportsmanlike conduct.

Code of Conduct & Rules

The FCPRBL maintains strict competition rules to protect the integrity of the sport and the safety of participants:

  • Respectful Competition – Zero tolerance for physical altercations, harassment, or discriminatory language.

  • Performance Standards – All content must be original; stealing bars results in immediate penalties.

  • Sportsmanship – Arguing with judges, excessive interruptions, or crowd disruption may result in fines or point deductions.

  • Health & Safety – All players must comply with venue safety rules and health requirements.

Sanctioning & Governance

The league is sanctioned by the Battle Rappers United Federation (BRUF) — the official players’ union and governing body of FCPRBL.
BRUF works alongside the League Board of Governors, which includes team owners, league executives, and independent advisors, to set rules, review disciplinary cases, and ensure that artist rights, safety, and fair play are upheld in every competition.
